Worship
We worship together to remember how great God is and experience moments where we encounter our creator. This gives us an opportunity to be refreshed and have life breathed into us once again so we can be strengthened to serve our God. Ignited Worship at CCC is intended to uplift believers so we can be inspired to not only experience God inside of brick and mortal walls but carry that holy strength out to a world in need.
What to Expect
Childcare is provided during the service, and light refreshments are also available.
A typical service begins with 3-4 songs from our full band. The music is extremely contemporary… you can expect to hear some popular Christian songs from gropus such as Leeland, rock versions of several hymns, some original music, and even an occasional relevant secular song from groups like Thrice or John Mayer. Our band might make you forget you’re at church, except for the way the way they help us connect with God. And the discussions of God and His thoughts and perspectives might just change your life.
After worship through music, a message of about 20-30 minutes follows. Our pastor has a very laid-back style. You will not hear a lot of “church words” during a typical sermon, but the relevant teaching will challenge you in your faith regardless of where you stand currently with God.
After most messages, if time permits, the pastor will answer questions as sent via text message throughout about the sermon, then the band closes with a song and any announcements.
Join us for an hour of Ignite Worship Sunday @ 11 AM. This large group gathering is casual and extremely contemporary. Come in comfortable clothes to enjoy excellent rock/indie music, laugh, learn, and be challenged to live life to its fullest.
